Beginners

The Spanish beginners course is suited to students who have little or no knowledge of the Spanish language. The course will introduce students to basic conversation and grammar. All four areas of language students are covered: listening, speaking, reading and writing. 

Course Topics:
  • Pronunciation and alphabet
  • Greetings and personal introductions

  • Masculine/feminine adjectives and nouns

  • Conjugation of regular verbs

  • Conversation based around travel (directions, shopping, restaurants)

  • Grammar and sentence structure

 

Dates: Each Tuesday evening from 23rd April 2024 to 11th June 2024

Time: 5:30pm - 7:00pm

The Spanish Continuers course is suited to students who have basic to moderate knowledge of the Spanish language. The course will introduce students to intermediate conversation and grammar. All four areas of language study are covered: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Cancellations: All courses are subject to minimum numbers and may be cancelled at short notice if insufficient numbers are received. Registrations close two days prior to the course start date. If we cancel your course you will be notified and offered your choice of credit for another course, or a full refund by bank transfer. Cash refunds will not be given. Students who withdraw from the course due to personal circumstances will not be given a refund. Credit transfer for future courses may be given to students who withdraw due to serious illness or injury. This is to be determined on a case by case basis.
